Gabrielle owns and runs a family vineyard, Chateau de la Tuilerie, which her father
opened over a hundred years ago in the south of France. She was married early in the twentieth century, but her husband died in a car accident. She loved her husband very much and had a difficult time with his death. When she was twenty-five, she was embraced by Christian, a Ventrue who still lives in Paris. Becoming Kindred helped her to get over her husband’s death. Eventually the family business grew to such an extent that it required offices in America. Gabrielle opened the Detroit branch and Christian runs the main European offices. Ten years ago Gabrielle took on the care of a ten year old girl named Elizabeth whose parents, friends of hers, had died. Elizabeth is an adult now and works as a PR person and Gabrielle’s personal assistant at the Detroit office of the Chateau de la Tuilerie. She knows what Gabrielle is and understands why it must be kept secret. |
